you smiled, luring me on

Part of a mini project from graphic design class last semester - loved this quote, by Oscar Wilde.

Some unoriginal illustration assignments, also from last semester:

temptations and distractions...

1. I sifted through my massive lookbook on style.com of the 433 images I've saved and thought I'd share a random selection:

Badgley Mischka spring 2010

Moschino Spring 2009

Donna Karan Fall 2009

3.1 Phillip Lim Fall 2009

Rag & Bone Resort 2010

Celine Pre-Fall 2010

2. Check out these finds I've accumulated from some of the trendland surfing I've done over the past few weeks:

I would like to live here, please and thank you.
The rest of the photos of this beautiful Brooklyn clock tower apartment, here.

How sweet are these photorealistic paintings by Diego Gravinese:

and Gregory Thielker:

and how are these not photos, Alyssa Monks:

and Ralph Goings:

Cinderella slipper of the future?
Andreia Chaves' invisible shoe:
I'd wear these over the Spring 2010 McQueen's any day.

3. And speaking of shoes, if you're a penny pincher/recessionista/stingy/thrifty/cheap.. the answers to all your problems are here! For starters, shine your shoes with a banana peel!
I found this two-year-old article from the UK Sun to be quite an amusing read.

hahaha alice.. 6. we're both asian nerds who live off the internetss.

oh i wish i was as organized as you with those subfolders!! when i first started putting things in my lookbook i didn't realize you could do that and when i tried to go back and sort them all, the process was just too laborious haha.. i really wish they had a "select all" feature and a way to get to your most recent adds without going through all the older ones! grrr..

adore rain/window photos.. you realize though the rain picture is a painting right? amazing.
