Here's where we stayed in Ubud, about a 20 minute walk from town.
Another Airbnb gem - the
Treehouse at Satori was a relatively new property adjacent to the larger (more luxurious and pricier) villa. The housekeeper arranged massages for us as well as a cooking class I'll post about soon. A bit of a change from the seclusion of Tejakula - we were right by the road and the sound of moped traffic, but we had a gorgeous, serene view of the rice fields from the balcony. The upstairs open-air bathroom here was also to die for, and our bedroom was cozy, cool, and softly lit by the huge floor to ceiling curtained window that amassed an entire wall.

J and Tay enjoyed their couple's massage while I ventured around the house taking photos |

Outdoor bathtub - it's a shame we couldn't figure out how to get it to work! :( |

I'm a lucky, lucky girl. Our gallery hop in town is up next.
